"La preghiera può essere un'effusione silenziosa del cuore o dell’anima. Tuttavia, per essere veramente efficace deve essere fatta nei tre mondi: mentale, astrale e fisico. Pregare non significa chiedere tutto e di tutto, seguendo l’impulso del momento. Occorre che a pronunciarsi per prima sia la luce, ossia il pensiero; è il pensiero che deve giudicare se vale la pena di formulare una richiesta. Poi, così come la luce si accompagna al calore, allo stesso modo il pensiero deve essere accompagnato da un sentimento potente che lo vivifichi. Infine, per raggiungere il piano fisico è necessaria la parola, poiché le vibrazioni sonore toccano la materia.
Senza la parola, che in qualche modo fornisce la “carne”, il pensiero e il sentimento non possiedono i materiali del mondo fisico che permettono la realizzazione. Rugăciunea - o activitate la care trebuie să participe gândul, sentimentul și cuvântul

"Rugăciunea poate fi o manifestare calmă a inimii sau a sufletului. Pentru a fi eficace, ea trebuie însă făcută în cele trei lumi: mentală, astrală și fizică. A te ruga nu presupune a cere totul sau orice în funcție de un impuls de moment. Trebuie ca lumina, gândul să înceapă să-și spună cuvântul; ele trebuie să judece dacă o cerere merită să fie formulată. Apoi, la fel cum lumina este însoțită de căldură, gândul trebuie să fie însoțit de un sentiment puternic care să îl însuflețească. În sfârșit, pentru a atinge planul fizic, cuvântul este necesar, fiindcă vibrațiile sonore ating materia. 
Fără cuvântul ce îi conferă într-un fel materializarea, gândul și sentimentul nu posedă materialele lumii fizice ce permit realizarea. Cuvântul aduce aceste materiale. Για να είναι όμως πραγματικά αποτελεσματική, πρέπει να ηχεί σε τρεις κόσμους: τον νοητικό, τον αστρικό και τον φυσικό κόσμο. Προσεύχομαι δεν σημαίνει ζητάω ό,τι μου κατέβει, ανάλογα με τις παρορμήσεις της στιγμής. Πρώτα πρέπει να μιλήσει το φως, δηλαδή η σκέψη. Εκείνη πρέπει να κρίνει αν ένα αίτημα αξίζει να εκφραστεί. Ύστερα, όπως το φως συνοδεύεται από θερμότητα, η σκέψη πρέπει να συνοδεύεται από ένα ισχυρό συναίσθημα που να την ζωογονεί. Τέλος, για να συμμετάσχει και το φυσικό πεδίο, είναι απαραίτητος ο λόγος, γιατί οι παλμικές κινήσεις που παράγουν ήχο, αγγίζουν την ύλη.

Με τον λόγο φέρνουμε στα πνεύματα του αόρατου κόσμου τα φυσικά στοιχεία που τους λείπουν. Τους δείχνουμε έτσι ότι γνωρίζουμε τους νόμους με αποτέλεσμα να διευκολύνουμε το έργο τους."
