Noi viviamo nell’Uomo cosmico, noi stessi siamo l’Uomo cosmico, e nessuna creatura esiste fuori di lui in quanto entità separata. Ne consegue dunque questa legge morale: tutto il bene e il male che facciamo agli altri, è a noi stessi che lo facciamo. Forse vi pare che questo non abbia senso?... Demzufolge besagt das moralische Gesetz, dass wir alles Böse, das wir anderen antun, uns selbst antun. Vielleicht scheint euch das keinen Sinn zu ergeben? Doch, im Gegenteil, es hat viel Sinn, denn im kosmischen Menschen sind wir alle eins."

Dimpotrivă, aceasta are mult sens, fiindcă în Omul cosmic noi suntem unu. "

Γιατί εκεί ψηλά υπάρχει μόνο ένα πλάσμα, ο συμπαντικός άνθρωπος που αποτελεί σύνθεση όλων των πλασμάτων.
Ζούμε μέσα στον συμπαντικό άνθρωπο, είμαστε αυτός ο Άνθρωπος και κανένα πλάσμα δεν υπάρχει έξω απ’ αυτόν ως χωριστή οντότητα. Από εκεί απορρέει ο ηθικός νόμος ότι όποιο καλό ή κακό κάνουμε στους άλλους το κάνουμε στον εαυτό μας. Σας φαίνεται ότι αυτό δεν έχει νόημα; Κι όμως έχει και πολύ μάλιστα, γιατί μέσα σ’ αυτόν τον Άνθρωπο είμαστε όλοι ένας."
