Natale e Pasqua: la nascita di Gesù festeggiata all’inizio dell’inverno e la sua resurrezione festeggiata in primavera rappresentano due pagine del grande Libro della natura. Coloro che tanto tempo fa hanno fissato le date di queste feste, erano esseri che possedevano una grande conoscenza delle relazioni che esistono fra la natura e l’anima umana.
Essi avevano meditato profondamente sulla vita di Gesù e sul suo insegnamento, e avevano compreso che essendosi egli identificato con il principio cosmico del Cristo, in lui si era verificato un incontro ideale tra la vita spirituale e la vita della natura, la vita dell’universo. Volendosi differenziare il più possibile dal paganesimo, che era caratterizzato dal culto delle forze della natura, il cristianesimo ha spezzato i legami vivi con l’universo. Ecco perché, ancora oggi, ai cristiani sfugge il senso profondo della loro religione. Solo alcuni Iniziati, possedendo la vera scienza dei simboli, vedono nella nascita e nella resurrezione di Gesù alcuni processi legati alla vita cosmica, la cui portata è dunque universale.

Those who fixed the dates of these feast days long ago were beings who possessed great knowledge of the relationship between nature and the human soul. They had meditated profoundly on the life of Jesus and his teaching and had understood that in his identification with the cosmic principle of the Christ, an ideal encounter had taken place in him between the spiritual life and the life of nature, the life of the universe. In an effort to distinguish itself as clearly as possible from paganism, which was characterized by the worship of the forces of nature, Christianity severed its living ties with the universe. This is why even today the profound meaning of their religion eludes Christians. Only a few initiates who possess the true science of symbols recognize in the birth and resurrection of Jesus processes which are linked to the cosmic life and thus have universal meaning.

Noël et Pâques : la naissance de Jésus fêtée au début de l’hiver et sa résurrection fêtée au printemps, représentent deux pages du grand Livre de la nature. Ceux qui ont fixé les dates de ces fêtes, il y a très longtemps, étaient des êtres qui possédaient une grande connaissance des relations qui existent entre la nature et l’âme humaine. Ils avaient médité profondément la vie de Jésus et son enseignement, et ils avaient compris qu’en s’identifiant au principe cosmique du Christ, une rencontre idéale s’était faite en lui entre la vie spirituelle et la vie de la nature, la vie de l’univers. En voulant se différencier le plus possible du paganisme, qui se caractérisait par le culte des forces de la nature, le christianisme a coupé les liens vivants avec l’univers. Seuls quelques Initiés, parce qu’ils possèdent la véritable science des symboles, voient dans la naissance et la résurrection de Jésus des processus liés à la vie cosmique et qui sont donc d’une portée universelle.

Weihnachten und Ostern, also die zum Winteranfang gefeierte Geburt Christi und seine im Frühling begangene Auferstehung, stellen zwei Seiten aus dem großen Buch der Natur dar. Diejenigen, die vor sehr langer Zeit die Daten dieser Feste bestimmten, waren Wesen, welche eine große Kenntnis über die zwischen der Natur und der menschlichen Seele bestehenden Beziehungen besaßen. Sie hatten tief über das Leben Christi und seine Lehre meditiert und indem sie sich mit dem Kosmischen Prinzip Christi verbunden hatten, erkannten sie, dass in ihm zwischen dem spirituellen Geben und dem Geben der Natur, dem Geben des Universums ein ideales Zusammentreffen geschah. Durch die starke Abgrenzung vom Heidentum, dessen Charakteristik der Kult der Naturkräfte war, hat das Christentum die lebendigen Bande zum Universum abgeschnitten. Deshalb bleibt den Christen der tiefe Sinn ihrer Religion auch heute noch ein Rätsel. Allein die Eingeweihten, die die wahre Wissenschaft der Symbole besitzen, sehen in Jesu Geburt und Auferstehung Prozesse, die mit dem kosmischen Leben verbunden und daher von universeller Tragweite sind.
