La terra, il nostro pianeta, è viva, respira, è sensibile e reagisce alle attività degli esseri umani che la abitano. Essi però non ne sono coscienti e pensano solo a sfruttarla nel proprio interesse. La rivoltano, la frugano, la scavano o la appianano, senza mai chiedersi se non stiano turbando un ordine che non conoscono. La terra percepisce tutto questo come dei pruriti, delle punture, delle ferite, e perciò di tanto in tanto dà una scrollata per sbarazzarsi di tutti quegli importuni che non smettono di punzecchiarla. Ovviamente la terra è paziente, e per un certo tempo sopporta le manovre degli esseri umani, ma alla fine si arrabbia.
Allora i poveretti sono terrificati, soffrono… Ma si decideranno a imparare veramente la lezione?

The earth, our planet, is alive; it breathes, it eats, it is sensitive and it reacts to the activities of humans who inhabit it. But they are not aware of it, and are only focused on exploiting it for their interest. Of course, the earth is patient, it puts up with their actions for a while but in the end it gets angry. Then the unfortunate humans are terrified and they suffer. La terre, notre planète, est vivante, elle respire, elle est sensible et elle réagit aux activités des humains qui l’habitent. Mais eux n’en sont pas conscients et ils ne pensent qu’à l’exploiter dans leur seul intérêt. Ils la retournent, la fouillent, la creusent ou l’aplanissent, sans jamais se demander s’ils ne sont pas en train de déranger un ordre qu’ils ne connaissent pas. La terre ressent tout cela comme des démangeaisons, des piqûres, des blessures, et alors de temps à autre elle donne une chiquenaude pour se débarrasser de tous ces importuns qui ne cessent de l’égratigner. Évidemment la terre est patiente, elle supporte les agissements des humains pendant un certain temps, mais à la fin elle se fâche. Alors, les malheureux sont terrifiés, ils souffrent… Mais se décideront-ils à apprendre vraiment la leçon ?

Die Erde, unser Planet, ist lebendig, sie atmet, ist sensibel und reagiert auf die Aktivität der Menschen, die auf ihr wohnen. Diese sind sich dessen jedoch nicht bewusst und denken nur daran, sie für ihre eigenen Interessen auszubeuten. Sie graben, wühlen, wenden um oder walzen platt, ohne sich je zu fragen, ob sie vielleicht dabei eine ihnen unbekannte Ordnung stören. Die Erde empfindet das alles als Juckreiz, als Stiche und Verletzungen, sodass sie sich manchmal schüttelt, um alle diese Störenfriede loszuwerden, die ständig auf ihr herumkratzen. Ganz offensichtlich ist die Erde geduldig und erträgt das Verhalten der Menschen eine gewisse Zeit, aber schlussendlich wird sie doch ärgerlich. Dann sind die Unglücklichen entsetzt und leiden. Aber werden sie sich entschließen, die Lektion wirklich zu lernen?
